Simpsons movie off to monster $70 million opening weekend

Fox rocked the box office on Friday with an explosive launch for the highly anticipated animated comedy The Simpsons Movie which beat all expectations to open to an estimated $29.4M on Friday. A three-day gross of $70-75M seems possible.
