Kevin Spacey will return as Lex Luthor in “Superman: Man of Steel”

Variety went on to state that “Superman” director Bryan Singer met with Spacey while in New York to pitch his “Man of Steel” sequel to Warner Bros. execs and got Spacey to come on board for the next film in the franchise which comes to theaters in 2009.
